SHARE Low Income Discount Program
Residents who have a qualifying income level based on the income eligibility criteria for State of California Low-income Home Energy Assistance Program to receive a discount of 30% on their monthly electric service charges.

Medical Discount Program
Residents with qualifying medical conditions may receive a 25% discount on their monthly electric charges.
Qualifiers
Any full-time resident in the home that has a physician-certified medical condition that requires regular use of life support equipment, or has a condition that requires special heating and/or air conditioning needs. The person qualifying for this discount must be a full-time resident of the household. *Download the application for full qualification details
Application Submittal
The completed application must be returned to the City of Lodi Electric Utility (see address on application). Faxed/emailed applications cannot be accepted. If the application is approved, you will receive a notice confirming that your Medical Discount is in place.

Fixed Income Discount Program
Residents who are on fixed incomes below $45,000 annually, who are over 62 years of age, and do not qualify for any other discount may qualify for a discount of 5% o their monthly electric charges.

CARE Program (Customer Assistance and Relief Energy)
Are you having problems with your utility bills this month? You are not alone. Many households experience occasional hardships which prevent paying the total amount due. The Customer Assistance & Relief Energy (CARE) Package program offers grants towards monthly residential electric charges for qualifying low-income customers one time per six-month period for up to $110.00. Even if you are a current SHARE discount account holder and a Fixed-Income discount account holder, you can apply for this additional assistance. Contact the following program administrators to apply:
