Housing Element Update
The City of Lodi is in the process of updating the 2016 Housing Element of the General Plan, as required by State law. The Housing Element update builds on previous City plans, goals, objectives and strategies to ensure that the City meets the housing needs of current and future Lodi residents and provides fair housing options for all. The 2023-2031 Housing Element is the sixth update and is also referred to as the 6th Cycle Housing Element. Check out www.planlodi.com for information and to get involved!
The General Plan provides a set of policies and programs that form a blueprint for physical development throughout the community. It is a long-term document consisting of written text and diagrams that expresses how a community should develop, and is a key tool for influencing the quality of life.
