A recent national survey showed that a burglary is committed every eight seconds in this country. The Lodi Police Department is committed to reducing these crimes.
Neighborhood Watch is a crime prevention/opportunity reduction program where citizens bands together and work with the Lodi Police Department to combat crime, specifically, but not limited to residential burglary.
Neighborhood watch groups can take away the criminals opportunity by following the four “Ds.”
Ways to deter criminals include:
Make it hard for the criminal to get in your home by:
Make your home look “lived in” even when you are out.
Be observant of your home and surroundings.
